What's up Athletes and Active Adults!
I’m Dr. Brandon Keilman (aka Doc). I'm a doctor of physical therapy, movement coach and licensed physical therapist in Winter Park, Florida. Thanks for being here!
I own and operate a cash-pay, movement-based physical therapy clinic out of a local CrossFit gym, but I started in a big hospital-based clinic and saw all the failings of the traditional model first hand.

I’ve been training myself for over 25 years and others for almost 20 years, 9 of those as a PT, now with over 25,000 hours of athlete training and patient care experience.
I’ve been involved in sports since I could walk, playing soccer, then landing on primarily basketball and volleyball, but played almost everything else for fun as well and I LOVE having the freedom to play any time, anywhere with my two young boys.
But I didn't always have that freedom...
It all started with a bad ankle sprain and severe back pain at age 17...
I trained all summer to get a 32" vertical jump for volleyball. I was flying my senior year until…I landed on someone 's foot who had crossed the midline after hitting the ball and my ankle blew out.
I returned too soon (without rehabbing) and didn’t know the limitations that ankle sprain created would send me on an 8 year journey through chronic joint pain and recurring bouts of severe back pain.
Later that year I woke up barely able to get out of bed. Every time I tried getting out of a chair felt like trying to break the deadlift world record and I had to shout it out just to stand up and take my first few, painfully stabbing steps.
Fast forward a myriad of injuries later, I got tired of it and thought to myself...
I'M TOO YOUNG FOR THIS
It finally occurred to me that maybe there was right way to move and I just hadn't been taught it. Maybe I had some control over my pain.
After testing every movement system I could get my hands on, including re-teaching myself how to run completely barefoot on all surfaces, I finally got pain-free, but I didn’t get fully restored. My ankles were still a problem for over 10 more years.
Why I believe God put me through all that mess
All the systems I tried had some value and even got me pain-free for a good while. Ultimately, they fell short though, just like traditional medicine, fitness training and rehab fails us now.
It wasn’t until I went back to our original template for human movement, the childhood neurodevelopmental sequence, that I was able to finally have the blueprint for total restoration.
Now as 40 year old dad, I move better than I did as a high flying teenager at 17. I’m pain-free and am actually still making progress.
I believe I went through that decade of trial and error and another decade of refinement so you don’t have to.
My clinical physio and coaching practice uses this same process to rapidly shorten the journey for athletes and lay people of all abilities having trouble escaping the frustrating cycle of chronic pain, recurring injury and stalled performance.
We can regain the freedom of movement and natural athleticism we once had as kids by simply retracing our steps using a simple framework and set of guiding principles to ensure success.
My greatest teachers and one of the biggest reasons I do what I do…
I truly believe I was put on this earth to serve people while equipping and empowering them to take responsibility for their health and longevity amidst a world of conflicting influencer “experts” and outdated traditional models that profit from our sickness.

My wife has given me one of the most incredible gifts because my two boys teach me more about movement every day than any other movement system I've tried. I’m so grateful to have a front row seat to that natural design playing out in real time.
